Blogging – you probably know about it because you are reading one right now.

“So how in the world can a blog make you smarter?!”

That’s what you’re probably thinking. Well, blogging involves writing for one. The more you write, the better you get at writing and of course, a better use of language means that you can at the least, seem smarter. Society looks up to people who can write well because it gives an outward appearance of intelligence and serves as proof of education (a very common factor used in determining your status, which may possibly equate to smartness).

For those who want a scientifically explained benefit – writing uses the left brain and frees up the right part, which deals more with the creative side of things – the side that can come up with less-orthodox solutions. This can lead to things you never even thought about and they just come up right at you as you write. Try it.

How to do it

Simple. Go to blogger.com and sign up for an account and there you have it – your own personal blog that you can tell all your friends about and show them that you know your stuff. Write things that they would go “AH HAH!” with and dazzle them with the things that you know and they don’t.

I’m evaluating a multi-media course on blogging from the folks at Simpleology. For a while, they’re letting you snag it for free if you post about it on your blog.

It covers:

  • The best blogging techniques.
  • How to get traffic to your blog.
  • How to turn your blog into money.

I’ll let you know what I think once I’ve had a chance to check it out. Meanwhile, go grab yours while it’s still free.

P.S. I found something really cool to increase your IQ. It does have a cost, but take a look and think about this: lower IQ for life, or pay a small price (really small for something as impactful to your life as IQ.) and become smarter forever? To me, it's worth it, for a better life in all aspects. Here's the link if you're still interested: Click Here
